Catnip Entertainment is a boardgame publisher based in Switzerland.

Our basic concept is ‘beige pink’: we publish games that are mechanically innovative and sound–but also fun, tactile, and visually inviting. This includes hidden gems of old and new games from both established and upcoming designers.

We believe games should involve us emotionally, as well as presenting difficult choices and I-want-to-do-three-things-but-I-can-only-do-one puzzles. A good game tells little emergent stories; it brings us together, and generates banter, as well as groans. When playing solo, we want players to be immersed and invested, not just intellectually challenged. When playing with others, we want players to experience the social dimension of the game, while avoiding the bad feelings of negative interaction.

Each game is a world into which we disappear. Catnip wants to enchant you. Come along for the ride!
